Selina is a professional fiction book coach and genre fiction writer.
Selina Shapland is a certified Author Accelerator Fiction Book Coach and creative writer with a passion for genre fiction and story structure. Since 2008 she has written two paranormal adventure manuscripts, edited novels and memoirs, published 72 articles with Weekend Notes Brisbane, taught a character development class online and attained certification as a leadership coach. She has also been a presenter with Brisbane Writers Workshop.
Selina has a passion for supporting writers to achieve their goals through her fiction coaching work, and has first-hand experience of the commitment it takes to write a full-length novel.
When Selina isn’t reading, writing, plotting, editing and coaching, she is hanging out with her animal companions and developing her portraiture skills.

About me:
I’m in my late 40s. I have lived in Canberra, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Now, I live in Albury, NSW with my lovely partner, a bossy Jack Russell x, my sweet toy poodle, a sweet natured fluffy rag doll cat who doesn’t ‘do people’ unless it’s on her own terms, and a housemate who also happens to be my best friend too. I’m currently working on writing short stories and plotting a cozy paranormal mystery with a romance sub-plot.
